The Flux Standard
New footwear, held and verified before sale.
Every pair offered by Flux is new and unworn, physically received into a warehouse under our control, and authenticated in hand by our specialist team before it appears online. Every pair includes its original branded box and all original accessories, and is checked again before dispatch.
Core standards
Six commitments behind every pair.
New & unworn
Flux sells new, unworn footwear only. A pair may be opened and handled for authentication, but it has not been worn. Customer returns are never resold as new.
Received before listing
We do not list a pair before it has entered inventory under Flux control. We work from product in hand, not a supplier image or future allocation.
Authenticated in hand
Our specialist team physically reviews each pair against internal standards. Pairs that are not approved are not listed.
Original box & accessories
Every pair is guaranteed to include its original branded box and all original accessories.
Checked again before dispatch
Before dispatch, we check the selected pair, size, condition, original branded box, and all original accessories against the order.
Long-term authenticity commitment
Our authenticity commitment continues with the original purchaser for the life of the product. It is non-transferable.
The process
Five controlled stages.
The same sequence applies to every pair before it reaches the site and the client.
-
01
Sourced
Our buying team works across retail and wholesale channels, including established boutiques, wholesalers, distributors, and vetted supplier partners.
-
02
Received
The pair enters a U.S. warehouse under Flux control before it is offered online.
-
03
Authenticated
A specialist physically reviews the pair using Flux's internal standards.
-
04
Approved & listed
Only approved pairs enter the online Flux inventory.
-
05
Checked & dispatched
Before dispatch, the order is checked again for pair, size, condition, original branded box, and all original accessories.
Sourcing and independence
Context informs the decision. Product in hand confirms it.
Professional sourcing
Flux buys across retail and wholesale channels. Opportunities can come from seasonal cycles, end-of-season retail inventory, store withdrawals, and verified time-limited pricing from established online retailers, as well as established boutiques, wholesalers, distributors, and vetted supplier partners. Supplier history and documentation can inform a review; they do not replace physical verification.
Why in hand matters
Physical receipt lets us review the pair that will enter inventory. We do not approve product from catalog imagery alone.
Independent by design
Flux is an independent retailer and is not an authorized retailer for every brand. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorized by a brand unless a product page expressly states otherwise.
Questions
The essentials, clearly stated.
Is every pair new?
Yes. Flux sells new, unworn footwear only. A pair may be opened and handled for authentication, but customer returns are never resold as new.
Is every listed pair physically in Flux inventory?
Every listed pair has been physically received into a warehouse under Flux control before it appears online.
When does authentication happen?
Our specialist team physically authenticates each pair before listing. A separate order check takes place before dispatch.
Is Flux an authorized retailer for every brand?
No. Flux is an independent retailer and is not affiliated with or authorized by a brand unless expressly stated on the product page.
What does the long-term authenticity commitment cover?
It is separate from the 30-day return policy and remains available while the original purchaser owns the item; it is non-transferable. Contact Client Services to begin a review. If a physical review is needed, Flux provides a prepaid return label, targets a conclusion within 3 business days after receipt, and provides daily status updates. If the item does not pass our authenticity review, Flux refunds the item price and applicable tax to the original payment method, or arranges an alternative refund method if the original method is unavailable. The same commitment applies to sale items.
